Colin Hannigan is a PhD candidate in International Relations and Comparative Politics with a focus on civil conflict. His primary research interests involve third-party intervention in civil conflict, as well as post-conflict peace building, power-sharing, and political inclusion, particularly rebel groups transitioning to political parties. Colin received an MA en route in Political Science from UNM in the Spring of 2014. He also holds a BA from the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John's University (in Minnesota), where he majored in both Political Science and Hispanic Studies. Colin is currently back at CSB/SJU as a Visiting Instructor of Political Science to teach (among other courses) Introduction to International Relations, Conflict and Human Rights, Latin American Politics, Revolutions and Social Movements, and Model United Nations.
