Fiorella Vera-Adrianzén is a Ph.D. student, specializing in Comparative Politics and International Relations. Her research focuses on post-conflict transitional justice in Latin America, as well as social welfare and grassroots development in the region. Her dissertation examines the efficacy of reparations at the individual and community levels in post-conflict Peru, where she will conduct fieldwork as an Inter-American Foundation fellow 2016-2017. She received a M.A. in Political Science (2014) and a B.A. (2010) from UNM, where she majored in Political Science and minored in Environmental Science. Her interest in Latin American justice and development issues derives from her educational and community service experiences growing up and attending law school in Peru.
