UNM Political Science Attends Four Corners Conflict Network Conference

Professors Christopher Butler and Cassy Dorff along with gradute students Colin Hannigan and David Nunnally attended the 2nd Annual Four Corners Conflict Network (4CCN) Conference from March 31st- April1st in Denver, CO. The conference was hosted by the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver. Dr. Bulter and Colin Hannigan presented their paper "Choosing Sides in Civil War: Third-party Interventions and Their Effects on Civil War Resolution". David Nunnally presented "Political Party Characteristics and State Repression: A Qualitative Comparative Analysis.". Dr. Dorff served as a conference Chair and participated in workshops. 

The Four Corners Conflict Network (4CCN) was established in 2015 with a view towards building some community connecting the many scholars of violent and nonviolent forms of political and social conflict that work at universities in the four corner states: Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah.
