Please join Prof. Jessica Feezell and Dionna Arellano from the Albuquerque Mayor's Office to discuss the Political Science Department's internship opportunities Monday 11/17 at 12:00 pm.

The department is currently accepting applications for two internship opportunities this Spring:

New Mexico State Legislative Internship (Spring only)

• Selected students spend a week in Santa Fe, NM and participate in part of the NM legislative session alongside state lawmakers for one week (40 hours).
• Participants earn a $500 stipend to offset costs, and one academic credit.
• Applications are due December 5th.

The Mayor's Select Internship (Fall and Spring)

• Selected students will work directly in the Mayor's Office and one other city department of their choosing.
• Participants will work 10 hrs/ week over the 16-week semester for 3 academic credits.
