Join us as we celebrate the graduating class of 2017! 

The Department of Political Science is holding its annual convocation for graduate students and undergraduate majors on Friday, May 12, 2017 beginning promptly at 3:00 p.m. in Ballrooms B & C of the Student Union. The Department ceremony provides fall 2016, and spring & summer, 2017 graduates with an intimate opportunity to receive individual recognition for their achievements, and promises to be fun and enjoyable for you and your family!

There will be no scheduled practice for the ceremony. The front rows of chairs in the ballrooms will be reserved for graduating students. For this reason, it is important for us to have an accurate number of those who plan to attend, so be sure to RSVP (see below). Students walking in the Department convocation ceremony are asked to wear caps and gowns. You should arrive to take your seat no later than 2:30. Your guests may begin arriving between 2:30 - 2:45 p.m. Bring as many guests as you wish – they may sit wherever they choose (but not in rows reserved for graduating students). Ample parking is available on campus in the Yale and Cornell parking structures at minimal cost. Light refreshments will be served following the ceremony.
