Overview:

Students who are selected for internships with the City of Albuquerque will be given a unique opportunity to sit at the forefront of local politics and gain meaningful experience in city government. In particular, the City of Albuquerque is looking for interns with a penchant for data entry to help measure the city's progress in areas such as sustainability, economic development, and equity. These internships will take place throughout the Spring 2024 semester from January-May. Selected students will be paid an hourly $15 wage and can expect flexible hours to fit the needs of their schedule.

Application:

If you are interested in applying, please send your resume in the form of a PDF to the city's Chief Impact Officer at jtfreeman@cabq.gov with the subject line "Spring Internship". In your email, please make sure to highlight your experience with data entry, along with your availability during the spring semester. Applications will be accepted until December 15th, and interviews will be conducted via Zoom over Winter Break.

Any questions about the program should be directed to our internship coordinator, Dr. Timothy Krebs.
