Political Science Associate Professor and Internship Coordinator, Dr. Mike Rocca, was awarded the College of Arts and Sciences Teaching Excellence Award for Tenured or Tenure-track Faculty. Congratulations Dr. Rocca and his fellow recipients on this accomplishment!

Professor Rocca joined UNM Political Sceince in 2005, after receiving his Ph.D. in political science from the University of California, Davis in 2004. Professor Rocca's subfield is American politics and his primary research and teaching interests relate to American national institutions, particularly the US Congress. 

Awardees were recognized in a ceremony on Friday, May 5th, 2023.
