Bibek is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at the University of New Mexico, with research interests in comparative politics, international development, public policy, and quantitative methods. He also holds an M.A. in Economics and an MBA, which complements his interdisciplinary approach to policy research. His work focuses on program evaluation, causal inference, political accountability, development-project allocation, workforce policy, and early childhood policy. He is particularly interested in using quantitative and quasi-experimental methods to examine how political institutions and public programs shape social and economic outcomes.
