Brooke is a second-year PhD student in the Department of Political Science and a CHP doctoral fellow at the UNM Center for Health Policy. Her research interests are within International Relations and Comparative Politics subfields. Specifically, Brooke focuses on the intersection between human rights violations and Transitional Justice, poverty and health disparities within African American communities.  Brooke holds a B.A. In International Politics and Spanish from Penn State.
