Biography:

Gregory Vuksich is a Ph.D. candidate with concentrations in international relations and public policy. His research interests focus on US foreign policy, particularly as it relates to former Yugoslavia and the Balkans. In 2022, he completed 10 months of dissertation research in Bosnia and Herzegovina and is expected to receive his doctorate in the Fall 2023 semester.

Greg's research interests are largely influenced by his professional background, which includes front line infantry combat in Vietnam and combat related assignments in Korea and West Germany, political military efforts in Yugoslavia, work in the United States Senate on budget and legislative processes, and international government marketing initiatives as a senior executive of a major American electronics firm. Most recently, he has been on contact with the U.S. Secretary of Defense office as an employee of the RAND Corporation working on NATO accession issues with ministers of Defense and chiefs of General Staffs in Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Greg holds a B.S. in General Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, an M.A. in Political Science from Vanderbilt University, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
