Rashida Jeduah is a third year PhD student in Political Science. She holds a BA in Political Science with a focus in Geography and Resource Development from the University of Ghana, as well as an MA in Political Science from UNM. Her broad research interests are in the subfields of Comparative Politics and International Relations. Specifically, her research interests include the African first ladyship as an avenue for achieving gender parity and female empowerment, as well as transitional and gender justice in the Global South. A health policy doctoral fellow at UNM's Center for Social Policy, Rashida is also interested in research on health equity, especially for women and children.
